Broth Coin Korean Stock Concentrate

Broth Coin is a concentrated Korean stock disc — a single coin dropped into hot water dissolves into authentic Korean broth. Beef bone, anchovy, and vegetable variants each deliver the specific base stock that Korean cooking depends on. No MSG, clean ingredients, and a fraction of the preparation time of traditional stock-making. Designed and manufactured in Korea, sourced through DEMORE.

01 · Overview

One coin. Authentic Korean broth. No hours of simmering.

Korean cooking relies on stock in a way that is more fundamental than most cuisines: dashima (kelp) and myeolchi (dried anchovy) broth underpins the vast majority of Korean soups, stews, and rice dishes. Beef bone broth (sagol yuksu) is the base for Korea's most iconic noodle dishes. Preparing these stocks traditionally takes hours — and for home cooks who want to cook Korean food authentically, the stock step is the biggest barrier.

Broth Coin solves this by concentrating the stock into a small disc format — one coin per serving, dissolved in hot water. The coin format is more precisely dosed than liquid stock, more convenient to store than sachets, and has a longer shelf life than fresh stock. The clean-ingredient, no-MSG formulation makes it suitable for health-conscious and clean-label retail channels.

02 · Variants

Three broth bases. The foundation of Korean cooking.

Variant 01

Anchovy & Kelp

The most fundamental Korean stock — myeolchi (dried anchovy) and dashima (kelp) broth. The base for the majority of Korean soups, stews, kimchi jjigae, and seasoned rice dishes. Light in colour, deep in umami.

Variant 02

Beef bone

Sagol yuksu — concentrated beef bone broth. The base for gomtang, seolleongtang, and Korean noodle soups. Rich, slightly milky in colour, deep in collagen and beef flavour.

Variant 03

Vegetable

Vegetable-based Korean stock — onion, radish, shiitake — for vegetarian and vegan cooking. Covers the same recipe range as anchovy broth for non-seafood consumers.

03 · Applications

Every Korean recipe that starts with stock.

Broth Coin is the base ingredient for Korean cooking rather than the finished dish. Its retail and foodservice value is as a convenience enabler for the full range of Korean cuisine preparation.

Application 01

Korean soups & stews

Doenjang jjigae, kimchi jjigae, soondubu jjigae, gomtang — all start with the appropriate stock. One coin per serving delivers the correct base.

Application 02

Noodle dishes

Kalguksu, japchae broth, and Korean ramen base. Broth Coin provides the stock foundation that instant noodle sachets approximate but cannot match in quality.

Application 03

Rice dishes

Juk (rice porridge), bibimbap sauce base, and seasoned rice preparations all benefit from proper stock as the liquid component rather than water.
